Sun. 29 Jun: Emailed the Belgian Embassy to ask a type of visa I should apply for
Mon. 30 Jun:
- Reply from the Belgian Embassy that I should send them the copy of the email from the European Commission
- Emailed the Traineeship Office to ask permission for forwarding the copy to the Belgian Consulate
- Informing the current company of my resignation
- Consulting with my friend at a travel agency about the flight ticket
- Registration of French Class for July
Tue. 1 Jul:
- Received a draft of flight schedule: departure on 11 Sep 2008 & arrival on 11 Mar 2009
- Reply from the Traineeship Office that there’s no problem for me to forward the informational email to the Belgian Embassy
Wed. 2 Jul:
- Confirmed the booking of flight schedule: departure on 11 Sep 2008 & arrival on 27 Mar 2009
- Advice from the Belgian Embassy that I’m required to apply for student visa without a financial guarantee documentation as I’m given monthly grants from the EC
- First day of French Class
Thu. 3 Jul:
- Applied for Criminal Record through the Belgian Embassy as documentation required for visa
- Payment for the flight tickets: 1,477,700 KRW
- Emailed the Belgian Embassy with a lot of questions regarding the various documents prepared for visa
- Booked phone consultation with AIG Overseas Student Travel Insurance
