Travel Plans 2010
On 30 November last year, I twitted my draft list of holidays for 2010. I want to list the destinations here at my blog so that I can track down on whether I’m keeping up with them.
- Hong Kong (Done on 4-6 January)
- Korea (Done on 6-16 February)
- Chiang Mai, Thailand
- Clark & Subic, the Philippines
- Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia (To be done on 1-3 May)
- Taiwan
- New Zealand
- Lombok, Indonesia
In addition to the above-mentioned, there is another place for which I am leaving in a few days.
- Phuket, Thailand (To be done on 2-4 April)
Basically, my intention is to get out of Singapore at least once a month and so far I have managed it by combining with work travels. Below are my business trip plans.
- Siem Reap, Cambodia (Done on 21-28 March)
- Luxembourg (To be done on 18-20 May; possibility to extend my stay)
- Lodz, Poland (To be done in end June to early July)
- Indonesia (To be done on 9-10 November)
There will be probably one or two more trips to make for work but, for the time being, these are the more-or-less confirmed ones.
Now you can see how happy and excited I am about all these trips. At the end of the year, I will get back to this post and see how the plan will actually unfold.

아, Taiwan 은 예전에 Vancouver 갈 때 경유지로 들린 적이 있어요. ㅋ

콘헤드 – 안 그래도 준수가 연말까지 방 세 개짜리 아파트 구해놓으라고 했는데 이건 힘들겠지만 올 수만 있다면 언제든지 환영이죠. 이현이 데리고 오는 게 마음이 더 편하지 않나요? 이현이와 동갑인 아들 둔 한 친구(언니가 팔자 세다고 한 ^^)는 그 꼬맹이 데리고 아일랜드도 일년에 한 번씩은 갔다왔는데 말이죠.
시은 – 너의 사막 여행기, 완전 기대돼! 언제 떠나는 겨? 그리고 얼마나?
park – 엥? 고속 승진에 승승장구 잘 나가는 부원장님께서 어찌하여 곧 그만 두는가? 혹시 몸에 탈 난거임? 싱가폴 오면 숙식은 걱정 말아야지. 5월 말에 그만 두면 6월에 올 계획인가? 내가 6월 말부터 7월 말까지는 행사가 세 개 연이어 있고 출장도 있어 6월 초에 오거나 아예 8월에 오는 게 좋을 듯. 그리고 내가 따로 휴가를 내기는 어려울 것 같으니 주말 끼고 오면 더욱 좋고. 오면 네가 그토록 바라는 휴양지 맘껏 동행해주마. 가고 싶은 곳 꼽아봐. 올 때, 시간은 여유가 있으나 경비가 빠듯하면 타이항공이나 캐세이 퍼시픽, 세부 퍼시픽 등 경유편이 있으니 참고하삼.
youngsin – 가고 싶은 곳은 많은데 일 때문에 시간 내기가 어려워 연말까지 위에 나열한 곳 다 가기는 어려울 것 같아요. 영신님께서도 건강히 잘 지내세요!

숟가락이 아니라 배낭을 얹어야 하는 거 아닌가? 갈만한 휴양지로 인도네시아의 Lombok, Gili islands가 어떨까 싶은데… 정해지는 대로 알려주삼!

Yup, someday soon! You know that AU and NZ, together with Russia, will become new members of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM)? So, hopefully, our company – the only physical insititution under ASEM – will organise an event in your beautiful country.
