Life Is A Journey
요 근래 나는 조울증 환자인 마냥 기쁨과 슬픔 사이를 왔다 갔다 한다.
이는 조금 있으면 나에게 닥칠 변화 때문인데, 그 원천이 나를 행복하게 하기도 눈물짓게 하기도 한다.
하지만 이 일을 좀 달리 생각해보려고 노력 중이다.
위의 광고 사진, 보다 정확하게는 사진 아래 문구인 “Is there any greater journey than love?”를 보고 영감을 받았다. 사랑이 여행이라면 그 사랑이 이뤄지는 인생도 여행일 것이다. 그리고 여행이라는 것은 길 위에서 이뤄지는 것이므로 우리는 그 길에서 여러 사람들과 만나면서 몇몇과는 같은 여정을 가기도 하고 각자의 방향이 다르다면 저마다의 길을 택해야 할 때도 있을 것이다. 하지만 당장의 헤어짐 때문에 너무 슬퍼할 필요는 없다. 우리는 살아있는 동안 끊임없이 여행을 하게 될 테니까…
Recently my mood has been up and down as if I was a manic-depressive. This is because of a change due to come to me soon and the cause of the change makes me feel happy and also shed tears.
However, I’m trying to deal with things in a different way as I’ve been inspired by the campaign ad picture above, more precisely the copy below it, “Is there any greater journey than love?”. If love is a journey, a life where there is love would be also a journey. Given a journey happens on the road we meet people there, sometimes taking the same paths with them and other times taking one’s own journey if each other’s directions don’t exactly come across. However, you don’t need to be too much sad about being apart for the present. Until we are alive, we will keep on going on a journey…
